Pandit Kishan Upadhyay will represent Bihar in the learned seminar regarding Diwali decision.

Kishanganj, 14 October (Hindus). There is doubt among the followers of Hindu religion on which date Diwali should be celebrated. To resolve this doubt, Pandit Kishan Upadhyay of Kishanganj will represent Bihar in the 'Scholarly Sabha' on 'Diwali Decision' to be held in Jaipur on October 15, 2024 under the auspices of All India Academic Council.

Pandit Kishan Upadhyay has received an invitation to this effect. He is the only invitee from Bihar. Vice Chancellors, former Vice Chancellors, professors of various Sanskrit universities and about 100 Sanskrit scholars, astrologers and pundits from Rajasthan, Delhi, Kolkata etc. are invited in this scholarly gathering. On Monday, Pandit Kishan Upadhyay told that this scholarly seminar will be held on October 15 in the new auditorium of Central Sanskrit University, Jaipur, which will be presided over by Prof. Rampal Shastri, former head of the astrology department of Rajkiya Maharaj Acharya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur. This learned congregation has received the saintly company of Acharya Balmukund Ji Maharaj of Sant Samaj, Hathoj Dham, MLA, Hawamahal, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar, Shri Mahant Shri Padmanambharan Devacharya Ji Maharaj and Mahant Shri Manohardas Ji Maharaj. While the director of Central Sanskrit University, Jaipur, Prof. Sudesh Sharma and co-director Prof. Y. S. Ramesh will be the special guest. This event is being organized under the supervision of Rajasthan State President of All India Academic Council, Prof. Mohan Lal Sharma and State Convenor Mudit Mittal.
