Hamirpur, 29 September (Hindu). The government has now decided to reward Gram Panchayats in Hamirpur district. In the new scheme of Yogi government, village heads will have to answer fifty questions in the exam. On giving the correct answer, Pradhan Panchayat will be rewarded with a certificate and a huge amount of money. For this, applications have also been sought online from the heads of all Gram Panchayats.
Yogi government has given many schemes to change the picture of Gram Panchayats in the entire Bundelkhand region including Hamirpur. For this, the state and central governments are also giving huge budget to Gram Panchayats under various schemes. For the first time, CM Panchayat Incentive Scheme has also been started, in which the government has decided to reward Gram Panchayats for good work.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Jitendra Mishra said that online applications have been sought from the heads of three hundred and thirty gram panchayats of Hamirpur district for the development works done in the year 2023-24. For this our Panchayat portal has been launched. Told that the heads of Gram Panchayats can apply online till October 10, 2024 to join the CM Panchayat Incentive Scheme. Told that in Hamirpur district which has seven blocks, it has been made mandatory to apply from fifteen percent panchayats from each block.
In the exam, fifty questions of 100 marks will be asked from the heads on nine themes.
District Panchayat Raj Officer Jitendra Mishra said that at the time of online application, the Sarpanch will have to answer 100 marks questions based on nine themes. There will be fifty questions of 100 marks. Told that along with the answers to the questions, the Pradhans will also have to upload the photos of the development works done in the Panchayats. After the application, there will also be online evaluation from the Panchayat Raj Director level.

District Panchayat Raj Officer said that the heads of 330 gram panchayats of the district have been instructed to apply. Told that fifty questions will be asked on nine themes like poverty free village, healthy village, child friendly village, village with adequate water, clean and green village, self-reliant village, safe village, good governance village and women friendly village etc. Told that if the village heads give the correct answer, they will be awarded the first prize of Rs 35 lakh at the state level.
