Palwal: People caught a drug addict while vandalizing an ATM machine and handed him over to the police

Palwal, 6 April (HS). A case of a thief being beaten by people before he could steal money from an ATM machine and handing him over to the police came to light on Saturday. Hodal police station has registered a case against two people including one named on the complaint of the shopkeeper in the shop where the ATM is installed. Along with this, the arrested accused has also been arrested and investigation has been started.

According to the information received, Gurudutt Sharma, a resident of Garhi Mod Hodal, has given a complaint to the police saying that an ATM of Axis Bank is installed in his shop. For whose security he himself has deployed a guard. Today he was present near the ATM booth, during which a young man entered the ATM booth drunk. Who had a screwdriver and an iron leaf in his hand. As soon as the accused went inside, he started tampering with the ATM machine with a screwdriver. People passing by caught that boy with a screwdriver and an iron leaf and because of the large crowd, they also beat him. During interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Waheed, resident of Pachanka. There was another boy with the accused, who fled from there as soon as he saw the opportunity.
