Palwal, September 20 (HS). Bikers looted two lakh rupees from farmers returning from Ballabhgarh Sabji Mandi after selling vegetables in a small elephant (tempo) near Baghola village on National Highway-19 and fled. Gadpuri police station has registered a case against the bikers on the complaint of the victim farmer and started searching for them.
Giving information on Friday, Gadpuri police station in-charge Prakash Chand said that Saligram, a resident of Khair in district Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), said in his complaint that he, Chota Hathi's driver Devi Singh, and his friend Captain Singh, all three were going back to their village in UP in a Chota Hathi (tempo) after selling vegetables in the Ballabhgarh market. But at around 11:45 pm, when their tempo passed the CNG pump located near Baghola village on National Highway-19, then two youths came on a bike and stopped their vehicle. There was no number on the bike of the accused youths, they had two lakh rupees in their tempo. The accused youths said that you sell ganja and cows.
He said that he had just come after selling vegetables, meanwhile the two youths looted two lakh rupees from him and fled from the spot after threatening him. Sunil Kumar, the investigating officer of Baghola police post of Gadpuri police station, said that a case has been registered on the complaint of the victim and the search has been started. Police says that their team is engaged, soon the robbers will be traced and arrested.
