Palamu, March 29 (Hindustan Reporter) The temperature in Palamu district has crossed 40 degrees. There will be scorching heat from April 1. However, there may be some relief from the weather due to rain on 30th and 31st March.
The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 40.02 degrees Celsius. An increase of up to two degrees has been recorded in the maximum temperature during the last 24 hours. Similarly, an increase of one to one and a half degrees has been recorded in the minimum temperature. On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.05 and the minimum temperature was 19.09 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand of Ranchi Meteorological Center said that a monsoon trough is currently crossing Jharkhand, which is extending till Assam. Due to this, light and moderate rain can be seen in the state. This will give people some relief from the heat. However, it will be light rain and there will be good sunshine for most of the day. The weather is changing its mood since March 30. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert on March 30 and 31 regarding rain and lightning. On March 30, there will be light to moderate rain in the southern, western and central parts of the state.
