Palamu, 19 February (HS). District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan reached Nawadih, a village dominated by Aadmi tribe under Chainpur zone, on Monday. During this, they became aware whether the names of qualified PVTG people are included in the voter list or not. He went door-to-door and verified the work of the voter list.
He found that the names of most of the eligible people have been added to the voter list. Many people were outside the village but names of such people were also found linked. The name of an 18-year-old girl from a primitive tribal group was included in the voter list by filling Form 6 through on-spot VHA.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the present BDOs to connect many girls with the Savitri Baiphule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana. After this, the Deputy Commissioner participated in the block level three-day training program of the Gram Panchayat Facilitator Team under the Gram Panchayat Development Scheme organized in the Block Office. During this, he asked everyone present on the spot to ensure that maximum number of eligible beneficiaries get benefited from pension in the pension camp to be held from tomorrow.
