A local court here has sentenced a Pakistani citizen living in Britain and who murdered an Indian-origin restaurant manager to life imprisonment. So the family of the dead Indian man expressed happiness that justice has been served. A British court has ordered life imprisonment to a 25-year-old accused of Pakistani origin.
An Indian was murdered in February
The incident took place on 14th February this year i.e. Valentine's Day. The incident occurred in Reading, south-east England, when a restaurant manager was hit by a car while returning home on his bicycle, killing him. Pakistani citizen Shajeb Khalid was found accused in this incident. After this the British police arrested him. The Pakistani national was convicted of murdering 36-year-old Indian-origin Vignesh Pattabhiraman last month after a trial at Reading Crown Court and was sentenced earlier this week.
Investigating officers are happy with the punishment given to Pakistani
The investigating officers are also happy with the life imprisonment awarded to the Pakistani man who killed an Indian-origin citizen by hitting him with a car. A British police officer said, “I am happy with the long sentence given to Khalid. Their actions are truly disgusting.
