
Pakistani spy arrest i: At least 12 people, including a YouTuber from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on charges of spying for Pakistan in the last few days. This time the investigation revealed that it was part of a detective network connected to the neighboring country which was active in North India. Six of these people have been arrested from Punjab and four from neighboring state of Haryana.
The arrested people include two women, including a YouTuber from Haryana, who was in touch with Pakistani officer Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish posted at Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi. India had deported a Pakistani officer on 13 May for his involvement in espionage. Police investigation so far has revealed that the accused was providing sensitive information to Pakistani intelligence agencies. He said that the financial transactions of the arrested suspects are being investigated and forensic analysis of their electronic equipment is also being done.
Apart from arrests from Punjab and Haryana, an alleged agent of Pakistan’s Steering Agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was arrested on Sunday by special work force from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. On May 4, Punjab Police arrested Falaksher Christ and Suraj Christ, residents of Ajnala, Amritsar, arrested for sending sensitive information and pictures of military camp areas and airports in the border district. Police had said that the two accused were involved in collecting important information such as army activities, Border Security Force (BSF) camps and airports, photographs and other sensitive data and sending them to their owners in Pakistan.
On 11 May, the Punjab Police arrested two people, including a woman, for alleged involvement in espionage activities related to Pakistani officer Danish posted at High Commission in Delhi. Officials said the accused have been identified as Gujala (31) and Yameen Mohammad (Malerkotla). According to police investigation, they (Gujala and Yameen) were receiving funds through online transactions instead of sharing confidential information. During interrogation, Guzala confidential information about the activities of the Indian Army confessed to sharing with a Pakistani officer posted at Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.
Gujala said that she was doing this work for money and the accused officer had sent a total of Rs 30,000 in two installments through UPI, once Rs 10,000 and the second time Rs 20,000. Meanwhile, Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said on Monday that the police arrested two people for sharing sensitive military information with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.
Yadav said in a post on ‘X’, “According to information received by reliable intelligence agencies on 15 May 2025, Sukhpreet Singh and Karanbir Singh were providing confidential information related to ‘Operation Sindoor’ to Pakistan’s intelligence agency. This information included army movement and major strategic places in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.” On 15 May, Haryana Police arrested 24 -year -old Noman Ilahi from Panipat district on charges of providing sensitive information to some people in Pakistan. According to police investigation, Elahi, a resident of Kairana, Uttar Pradesh, was in touch with its employer at ISI, Pakistan.
Elahi was also working as a security guard in a factory and is accused of providing sensitive information to Pakistan. He lived with his sister and brother -in -law in Hali Colony in Panipat. A day after Ilahi’s arrest, Haryana Police arrested a 25 -year -old postgraduate student from Kaithal for having a relationship with Pakistani intelligence agencies. Devendra Singh was arrested from Guhla area of Kaithal district for posting photos with weapons on social media. During the investigation of the case, Haryana Police came to know that Singh had gone to Pakistan for pilgrimage in November last year. Singh was studying postgraduate in political science from a college in Punjab.
Police said that the Singh came in contact with Pakistani intelligence agents during the pilgrimage and kept in touch even after coming back. According to the police, Singh has confessed to sending some pictures of the Patiala camp from outside. On 16 May, Haryana Police arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra from Hisar on charges of providing sensitive information to Pakistani intelligence agencies. Police said that Malhotra runs a YouTube channel called ‘Travel with Joe’. According to police, Jyoti Malhotra was arrested from New Agrasen Extension on Friday.
Police said that a case has been registered against Malhotra under the Related sections of the Government Conventions Act and the Indian Penal Code. Jyoti has 3.77 lakh subscribers and 1.33 lakh followers on YouTube channel and Instagram respectively. Police said that she was in touch with Pakistani employee Danish.
According to police, some videos of Jyoti’s visit to Pakistan have been seen on her YouTube channel, including ‘Indian girl in Pakistan’, ‘Indian girl in Katas Raj temple’ and ‘Luxury bus running Indian girl in Pakistan’. According to the FIR lodged at the Civil Lines Police Station in Hisar, Jyoti came into contact with Danish in 2023 at Pakistan High Commission, where she went to a visa to visit the neighboring country.

Hisar Superintendent of Police Shashank Kumar Sawan said on Sunday that Jyoti was allegedly in touch with Danish during a four -day military clash between India and Pakistan after ‘Operation Sindoor’ and Pakistani intelligence agencies were preparing Malhotra as their ‘contact sore thrash’. He said that Jyoti was sent to police custody for five days after producing in court on Saturday.
Sawan said, “This is also a kind of war in which they (Pakistani ISI) try to pursue their point through influential people.” According to the police, Jyoti had visited Pakistan and China once. Police said that Jyoti’s financial transactions and travel details are being investigated.
Haryana Police said on Sunday that they arrested a 26 -year -old youth from Noonh district for spying for Pakistan. Police said the Armaan of Nuh was arrested on Saturday for sharing information related to the Indian Army and other military operations with the neighboring country through an employee posted at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi.
Armaan has been sent to six days police custody and he is accused of sharing long -term information on WhatsApp and social media platforms. On Monday, Nuh police arrested a fake person spying for Pakistan in a joint operation with a central agency.
Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) on Sunday arrested an alleged agent of Pakistan’s intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) from Tanda town in Rampur district. The Moradabad unit of STF arrested Shahzad after receiving information about being involved in border cross smuggling and espionage activities for ISI.
The STF said that Shahzad was providing sensitive information related to national security to its employers. The STF has alleged that he had gone to Pakistan several times in the last few years and has been accused of smuggling cosmetics, clothes, spices and other items across the border.
