Pakistan: Terrorist attack on a shop selling flags in celebration of Independence Day, three killed | News India

Pakistan sought help from Afghanistan

Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir has sought help from neighboring Afghanistan to stop attacks by Pakistan Taliban. A statement from the Pakistan Army said that a group of terrorists killed four security personnel in South Waziristan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Six terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by the army. Six people are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

According to a government hospital official, three people were killed in the terrorist attack on a shop and a house nearby. While six people were injured and were taken to hospital. On the eve of Independence Day, Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir expressed his resolve to defeat terrorism in programs organized in different parts of the country.

There have been attacks before

In the last few years, attacks have increased on Independence Day in Balochistan, Pakistan. Flag shops have been targeted earlier as well. In the year 2022 and 2023 also, people selling Pakistani flags were attacked.

Many people in Balochistan believe that they wanted to live as an independent country after the partition of India and Pakistan. But, they were included in Pakistan without their consent. This did not happen, so the conflict between the army and the people in Balochistan continues to this day.
