A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Sindh province of neighbouring country Pakistan. Nine people died after eating poisonous food here. Eight of them were siblings. One person has been admitted to the hospital. The deceased include five sisters and three brothers. Their age is between four and 18 years. There is an uproar in the entire area regarding this incident.

The body was handed over to the relatives without post-mortem

According to the information, this incident took place on Monday night in Haibat Khan Brohi village near Pir-Jo-God in Khairpur district. Here 10 members of the family and guests fell unconscious after eating food. Their relatives and neighbors took them to the hospital. Where three members of the family died. However, since there was no doctor to conduct the postmortem, their bodies were returned to their relatives. The villagers accused the hospital of negligence. They say that if the victim had received timely treatment, so many deaths would not have occurred under treatment.

According to information, other people died due to poisoning and thus nine siblings died. He said that the condition of the 10th victim is stable and he is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

After so many deaths, the police have started investigating the said case. Meanwhile, a team of officials of the Sukkur Food Department collected samples of the food used by the victims and sent them to the laboratory. The Chief Minister of Sindh has directed the investigation commission to find out the cause of death and conduct a thorough investigation.
