Pakistan’s old habit of hiding its failure and false propaganda has once again been exposed to the world, when it made absurd and completely fabricated claims against India on the occasion of its Air Force Day. Pakistani propaganda machinery claimed that with the help of their J-10 fighter planes, they have practiced targeting India’s advanced Rafale fighter jets and along with this, they have completely destroyed 32 airbases and S-400 air defense system of India. International defense experts and military analysts have termed these claims of Pakistan as a blatant lie, childish act and a failed drama just to please the domestic public. By presenting such fake figures in front of India’s military might and its invincible air defense systems, Pakistan has once again become a laughing stock on the global stage.
Such fake and exaggerated claims are often made by Pakistan when its political and economic situation within the country has completely collapsed or its own army is under great pressure at the international level. To divert the attention of Pakistani people and fundamentalist elements from their poor economy, hunger and internal strife, the media and military officials there spread these false stories on the pretext of Air Force Day. Analysts say that a country whose Air Force itself is yearning for spare parts and fuel for its aging aircraft, how can it even dream of destroying the world’s most modern and powerful defense system, the S-400 or Rafale. This rhetoric is just a part of hollow propaganda which has nothing to do with reality nor is there any evidence for these claims on any defense platform.
Indian Air Force (IAF) is today counted among the most powerful, professional and technologically advanced air forces in the world, whose fleet of Rafale aircraft and S-400 Triumph air defense system are enough to shock the senses of any enemy. The S-400 system is considered to be the world’s most accurate and best surface-to-air defense shield, which can detect and destroy enemy fighter jets and missiles in the air from hundreds of kilometers away. At the same time, with the help of its supercruise capability, Meteor missiles and state-of-the-art electronic warfare suite, Rafale can dodge any enemy radar and aircraft and bite the dust in the blink of an eye. In such a situation, Pakistan claiming that it has destroyed both these invincible systems is like trying unsuccessfully to show a lamp to the sun. Indian defense experts clearly believe that if they ever face each other in the real battlefield, Pakistani J-10 aircraft will disappear from the sky within a few minutes.
The Indian Defense Ministry and Army Headquarters are well aware of such childish rhetoric and propaganda and instead of paying any attention to it, they are completely focused on their strategic preparations. India’s intelligence agencies and air defense units deployed on the north-western borders keep a close watch on every activity 24 hours so that a befitting reply can be given to any misadventure. Another major objective of such false boasting inside Pakistan is to keep the morale of its domestic people and army high, because they know that they have lagged behind on every front compared to the military might of India. India’s strengthening defense manufacturing and indigenous weapons being developed under ‘Make in India’ initiatives are also giving Pakistan sleepless nights, due to which it keeps trying to save its false pride by creating such fabricated stories.
