Pakistan has now spread venom against India in Junagadh. Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zehra Baloch raised the issue of Junagadh on Thursday and said that India has illegally occupied Junagadh. Pakistan's policy statement on Junagadh has always been clear that it is a city in Gujarat, India, which was annexed to Pakistan in 1948.
Pakistan views the matter from a historical and legal perspective. Junagadh was a part of Pakistan. India's illegal occupation of it is a violation of the UN Charter and ANR. It is a violation of rules. Pakistan has always raised the Junagadh issue on political and diplomatic forums and wants a peaceful solution. Like Kashmir, Pakistan also considers Junagadh an unfinished agenda. During the press conference, Mumtaz also highlighted Pakistan's desire to develop positive and strong relations with Bangladesh and said that Pakistan-Bangladesh relations will improve further with the cooperation of the governments of both countries. Strong relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh are beneficial for both countries. He also said that invitations have been sent to the heads of member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
