New Delhi : 112 visas have been issued to a group of pilgrims from India to visit the Shri Katas Raj Temple located in Chakwal district of Punjab, Pakistan. Every year, Hindu and Sikh pilgrims from India visit Pakistan under the bilateral protocol for visiting religious places and Pakistani pilgrims also visit India under the same protocol.
Pakistan High Commission in-charge Saad Ahmed Waraich, wishing a safe journey of the pilgrims, said that the pilgrims will visit Shri Katas Raj Temple from March 6 to 12. It is also known as Kilakhtas. In December last year, Pakistan had issued 62 visas to Indian pilgrims to visit Shri Katas Raj Temple.
