Pakistan arrested 11 terrorists involved in the murder of Chinese engineers, 6 people including 5 foreigners were killed

Islamabad: Pakistan has arrested 11 Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants involved in the killing of five Chinese engineers. In March, militants killed six people, including five Chinese engineers, in a suicide bombing.

Pakistan's counter-terrorism chief Rai Tahir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the arrested people belong to the local Taliban, also known as TTP. The aim of TTP is to destabilize the current government of Pakistan. For this they carry out terrorist attacks.

Mobile phone has been recovered from the arrested terrorists

Mobile phones have been recovered from the arrested terrorists, which revealed that the terrorists had received the message of the attack from the TTP leader. The attack was planned in Afghanistan. The Home Minister said that legal assistance will be taken for the arrest of the other three main accused involved in the attack.

In fact, in March, six people, including five Chinese nationals, were killed when a vehicle filled with explosives collided with a bus in the troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. All of them had been working as engineers on a China-backed hydropower project since 2021.
