New Delhi: At least 8 Taliban terrorists were killed in a face-to-face firing on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. More than a dozen people from both sides were injured in this conflict. According to Pakistani media, firing was done from Afghanistan in Pilwasin district. At least 8 Taliban were killed in retaliatory action by the Pakistani army. Many people were also injured. However, many people from both sides were injured. Two Taliban commanders Jin-Mohammed and Khalil were killed in the conflict.

Many soldiers of the Pakistani army were also injured, including a captain. Media reports further said that for the past few days, there has been a face-to-face firing between Pakistan and the Taliban on the Durand Line. However, the Afghan army says that it has no hand in this.

The Durand Line, which determined the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, was also a treaty according to international law. But after the fall of the Karzai government, the Taliban regime in Afghanistan refused to accept that line as a border line. The Tehreek-e-Taliban government of Afghanistan has said that the line drawn by the British is not acceptable to us.

Actually this line was made in 1893 according to the treaty between the then ruler (Amir) of Afghanistan Abdul Rahman Khan and British India, it is called Durand Line after the name of engineer Durand who determined this line, it is more than 2600 km long in length.
