Mirzapur, 04 November (HS). Procurement of paddy started from November 4 at the purchasing centers of Vindhyachal division. Before this, procurement was to start from November 1st. But due to that day being a holiday, now this purchase is starting from November 4.
Divisional Food Controller RB Prasad said that complete preparations are being made for the purchase of paddy. Due to holiday on 1st November, procurement will now start from 4th November. The target of purchasing paddy at a total of 183 paddy purchasing centers in Vindhyachal division has been set at 2970000 quintals. Paddy will be procured at 99 centers in Mirzapur district.
