nigeria petrol tanker explosion : A horrific explosion in a petrol tanker caused a huge stir in Nigeria's Jigawa state late Tuesday night. More than 90 people have died in this incident, while more than 50 people have been injured.

According to media reports, the tanker driver lost control of the vehicle near Chalida University in Maziya area, due to which this terrible explosion occurred. Jigawa police spokesperson Shea Jesus Adam confirmed the incident on Wednesday and said at least 94 people died in the blast. The injured have been admitted to Ringim General Hospital.
Terrible explosion occurred after tanker overturned
Adam said the tanker driver was traveling from Kano to Nguru Yobe when the explosion occurred at Majia area at about 11.30pm on Tuesday. The tanker driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, due to which the tanker overturned and caused a massive explosion.
On the contrary, a large number of people gathered near the tanker and there was huge loss of life.
He also said that when the tanker overturned, many people had gathered near it. Meanwhile, the police repeatedly warned people to move away from there, but people did not move away from there. Due to which many people have been affected by the blast.
