Outgoing MP met the fire victims of Khushkibag fruit market, said all possible help will be provided

Purnia, 30 April (Hindus). Outgoing MP Santosh Kushwaha, after returning from Delhi, directly reached Khushkibag fruit market where property worth crores of more than 80 businessmen was burnt to ashes in a fire incident late on Sunday night. Mr. Kushwaha met all the victims and explained in detail about their loss. Received information. Shri Kushwaha was also moved after hearing the plight of the affected businessmen.

Expressing grief, he said that it is difficult to compensate for such a huge loss but his efforts will be to ensure that not only maximum financial help is provided to the victims but also there should be complete arrangements to prevent such incidents in future.

Shri Kushwaha said that he wants to assure the victims that as much space as possible will be provided to the victims in the shops which are under construction in the market committee premises. He said that a proposal sent by him to the state government is also pending in which Fruit market, vegetable market and meat-fish market should be accommodated together in the vacant land of the market committee. This market will be equipped with modern facilities where such accidents will be negligible.

He said that after getting the blessings of all of you for the third time, the construction of this market will be his priority. He said that the compensation to which the victims will be entitled under the disaster rules will be made available to them soon. He immediately spoke to the Municipal Corporation Commissioner on phone and reached the spot. But instructions were given to get the scattered debris completely cleaned.
