Out of 2919 cases, 2502 cases were disposed in National Lok Adalat

Udhampur, 09 March (HS). In compliance with the instructions of Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authority, National Lok Adalat was organized under the chairmanship of Haq Nawaz Zargar Principal District and Sessions Judge Udhampur in Udhampur District Court premises regarding various types of cases, in which 06 benches were constituted in the district. .

A total of 2919 cases of various types were taken up in Lok Adalat, out of which 2502 cases were disposed of. During this period a total amount of Rs 69,87,082 was recovered.

Bench number 1 constituted for the Lok Adalat comprised Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Udhampur and Dinesh Gupta, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Udhampur. Whereas bench number 2 included Salahuddin Ahmed, Sub Judge/Special Mobile Magistrate, Udhampur and panel lawyer Nikhileshwar, while bench number 3 included Vishal Bharti, District Mobile Magistrate (T), Udhampur and advocate Akhil Dubey, panel lawyer. Similarly, in Bench No. 4, Sub Judge Raj Kumar, President TLSC, Ramnagar and Advocate K.D. Sharma Advocate TLSC Ramnagar was involved. Bench No. 5 comprised Madhu Sharma Munsiff JMIC Majalta and advisor Mohan Lal Gupta and Bench No. 6 comprised Rekha Sharma Munsiff JMIC Chinaini and advisor Tariq M Mughal, panel lawyer Chinaini.
