Meerut, September 14 (HS). Chaudhary Charan Singh University's Political Science Professor Sanjeev Sharma said that language carries its own culture, conduct and behaviour. It is not right to tamper with the culture of any language in the name of simplicity. In the name of mother tongue, Hindi is used freely. We should be aware of the purity of Hindi. There was no conflict between languages ​​in ancient India. Europe's concept is based on linguistic conflict but not India's. In normal life, we should sign our names in Hindi only, this determines our identity and Hindi gets pride as a mother tongue.

On Hindi Diwas, a seminar was organized on the topic of Official Language Hindi: Technology and Translation in the Hindi and Modern Language Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh University on Saturday. Chief Guest Prof. Kumud Sharma said that languages ​​do not have silos. Before independence, all freedom fighters unanimously adopted Hindi, but when it became the official language, this issue became a matter of protest and the language took many forms like official language, contact language, national language etc. The result of this protest was that 15 years of Hindi training time was given to Hindi. That became the biggest obstacle for Hindi. Later, even Hindi speakers could not recognize Hindi. The media has run with the power and capability of Hindi. With the advent of technology, new areas of employment have been created in Hindi.

State Information Commissioner Rajendra Singh said that language has been the main basis of development of human civilization. Hindi speakers have the largest population in India. Development of any language is linked to employment opportunities in it and Hindi has ample opportunities for this. Dr. Amarnath Amar said that Hindi has many forms, Hindi is used in many forms in literature reading, media and in practice. There is diversity in the Hindi dictionary, Hindi has adopted words from many dialects and languages ​​and foreign languages. Translation is the main medium of language promotion. There are also translation positions in Akashvani and Doordarshan. Important work is also being done for regional languages ​​in Doordarshan.

Program coordinator and head of the department Prof. Naveen Chandra Lohani said that important work is being done on the Hindi language and script at the global level. In the field of translation, Hindi is also being continuously translated. In the field of employment, translation has also introduced the Hindi language to new areas. By connecting with technology, Hindi is connected to contemporary contexts. New dictionaries and software are being developed continuously in Hindi. The Internet has also made it easier to work in Hindi through translation. The Government of India is also doing important work in the field of technology and Hindi. Software like Anuvaadini has made translation into Indian languages ​​easy. New work is being done continuously in Hindi at the global level and the future of Hindi is bright.

In the program, the winning students were awarded in the essay writing and extempore speech competition held on Friday. Dr. Mahipal Verma Award was given to the first two students who got the highest marks in MA session 23-24 of Hindi and Modern Indian Languages ​​Department. Also, the first two students who got the highest marks in BA examination of Shanti Devi Government Organiser College Jewar were honoured. On this occasion, Prof. KK Sharma, Prof. Vignesh Kumar, Dr. Ravindra Pratap Rana, Dr. Praveen Kataria, Dr. Anuj Agarwal, Dr. Aarti Rana, Dr. Yagyaesh Kumar, Dr. Vidyasagar Singh, Dr. Nidhiraj, Dr. Sumit etc. were present.
