Madhubani, 07 July, (HS). The famous Saurath Sabha, a place for marriage resolution of Maithil Brahmins, started on Sunday in the district's Sadar area.
Saurath Sabha was organized on Sunday as per the marriage date mentioned in the Patra of the recognized Sanskrit University in the month of Ashadh. The traditional cultural mythological story is still relevant in Saurath Sabha, the venue of marriages being held till 12th July.
People from the bride and groom's side gather here. After getting the original gotra, the marriage is fixed. There is a systematic arrangement for getting the 'Siddhant' done as per the register system. On the principle of 'Matvaaram Panchame, Patritvaam Saptamesh Bhajet', a certificate is given by the local competent registrars with a certified document on Bhojpatra with red ink on it that there is no blood relation between the bride and groom's side.
With the passage of time, the functioning and operation of the Saurath Sabha Sthal is declining in the dazzling environment. According to tradition, the concrete form of modern discussions is still visible here.
Saurath Sabha member Dr. Shekhar Chandra Mishra discussed the all-round development of the Saurath Sabha place in the modern environment.
Senior journalist Amarnath Anand said that the new young generation needs to carefully preserve the mythological heritage of Saurath Sabha. On this occasion Parmanoj Mishra, Dr. Shitalambar Jha, Krishna Kant Guddu and other eminent dignitaries were present.
