On this occasion, Acharya Balakrishna said that Holi is a festival of renunciation of ego. Holi is the festival of burning our inner Hiranyakashyap, bad feelings. Forget all your differences on Holi and make this festival of colors worthwhile with brotherhood. He called upon the countrymen to celebrate the festival of Holi with full honesty. Do not use dung, mud and chemical -based colors on Holi. Play Holi with flowers and herbal garlands. Acharya ji said that chemical -based paint can cause eyes and skin diseases. Acharya Balakrishna advised to take some precautions before playing Holi. He said that before playing Holi, apply mustard or coconut oil or cold cream on your body. This reduces the chances of skin damage from harmful chemical colors.
