Organ donation of trainee pilot who died in accident in Pune

Mumbai: A car carrying students undergoing pilot training met with a serious accident in Baramati on 9 December. Two novice pilots died on the spot in the accident. Two were seriously injured. Cheshta Bishnoi, 21, who was also a trainee pilot, was seriously injured. He died on Wednesday 18th in a private hospital in Pune. Pune Divisional Transplant Coordinating Committee has informed that even after death, they have given new life to six people.

Some people continue to give life to many even after death. A similar case has happened in Pune. 21 year old Cheshta, resident of Khetolai village of Pokhran, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, who dreamed of becoming a pilot in Baramati, met with an accident on 9 December. Due to his condition being very serious, he was being treated in a private hospital. But the treatment was unsuccessful. After that his family decided to donate his organs and six of them got life support. He has donated five organs and a liver.

After the doctor declared him brain dead, the decision was taken to transplant his organs. Three of his organs were donated to Ruby Hall Clinic, while two were donated to DY Patil Hospital. The liver has been divided and transplanted into two people. It has also been learned that all the transplanted patients are healthy.
