Online shopping has become a common thing nowadays. From groceries to electronics and clothes, we order everything online. But something happened to an Amazon customer which shocked him a lot.
A woman named Sofia Sereno posted on Instagram that she ordered an air fryer from Amazon and when she opened the package, she found a live lizard inside. She posted in Spanish, which means something like this: We ordered an air fryer from Amazon. I don't know if this is Amazon's fault or the delivery person's fault.
He wrote in another post, 'Now we know that it is Amazon's fault as the lizard was placed in the air fryer packet. Amazon does not want to take responsibility and this is a very serious matter as exotic animals can pose a health hazard.
What did Amazon say?
In response to a post by Sofia, Amazon wrote, “Hello! We apologize for the inconvenience. Can you tell us if you made this purchase from Amazon .com, .com.mx or .es?”
Snake came out of a box in India
A similar case happened in India as well. Last month, a woman from Bangalore found a snake in an Amazon package. Tanvi ordered an Xbox controller from Amazon India on June 16. The packet arrived on June 18. When she opened the packet, she was scared to see the snake.
Tanvi also shared a video on Instagram with the caption, 'Ordered an Xbox controller from Amazon India and got a free snake with it.' According to reports, the woman and her husband say that Amazon customer support kept them on hold for over two hours and they had to resolve the issue themselves in the middle of the night.
