NEET-UG paper leak case: Alleged irregularities including paper leaks in the NEET-UG exam 2024 for admission to medical colleges and other competitive exams have sparked outrage across the country. Students are taking to the streets and protesting against the system. Several petitions have also been filed in the Supreme Court and High Court. Now the NEET paper leak case is going to resonate in Parliament as well. On Friday, the Congress-led Bharat Alliance will move an adjournment motion on the NEET controversy in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. This decision has been taken in the India Alliance Force meeting held at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

President Draupadi Murmu addressed the joint session of Parliament on Thursday. The motion of thanks on the President's address is to be debated on Friday, but the opposition's aim is to corner the government on the NET paper leak issue during the debate on the motion of thanks. Meanwhile, the government is ready to answer any question of the opposition regarding NEET, even if this issue is raised during the discussion.

According to government sources, every possible action has been taken on the NEET issue, from CBI investigation to the formation of a special committee. The committee's report is expected soon. Along with implementing the Anti Paper Leak Act, it has been decided to take strict action against the culprits. This can also lay the foundation of a strong education system.

NSUI workers entered the NTA office

Earlier, NSUI workers had entered the NTA office and protested against the NEET paper leak. The workers raised slogans and closed the NTA gate from inside.

CBI is investigating in 6 states

In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI is investigating in 6 states including Bihar, Jharkhand and Gujarat. The connection of NEET paper leak has come to light from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. The CBI has also started investigation in Godhra, Gujarat. On Thursday, the CBI has arrested two accused Manish Prakash and Ashutosh from Patna, the capital of Bihar. The CBI suspects that the people arrested by the police so far are almost contractors. The mastermind of the paper leak is someone else.

How many arrests have been made so far?

In this case, CBI has made a total of 29 arrests in 5 out of 6 states. Manish Prakash and Ashutosh have been arrested from Patna, Bihar. Mastermind Sanjeev Mukhiya is absconding. 5 arrests have been made from Gujarat. Sanjay Jadhav and Jalil Pathan have been arrested from Latur, Maharashtra. 6 people have been arrested from Jharkhand. One accused has been arrested from West Bengal.
