Prayagraj, 22 August (HS). The 19th convocation of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University will be held on 11 September at 11 am. Degrees will be awarded to the candidates who passed in December 2023 and June 2024 sessions in the ceremony.
After getting the approval of the Governor and Chancellor, the activities of the convocation ceremony have intensified in the university. Vice Chancellor Professor Satyakam has formed 17 committees for the successful conduct of the convocation ceremony. The Vice Chancellor held a meeting with the coordinators of all the committees and directed to complete all the preparations in a timely manner.
Professor Shruti, coordinator of the registration and website committee, said that the registration form for the students attending the ceremony has been uploaded on the university website. Information is being sent to the passed students and all study centers through SMS to complete the registration process. She said that the registration window will remain open for now.
University's Public Relations Officer Dr. Prabhat Chandra Mishra said that Vice Chancellor Professor Satyakam has directed the coordinators of Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Jhansi, Kanpur, Agra, Meerut, Bareilly, Azamgarh, Ghaziabad and Lucknow regional centers of the state to ensure maximum registration of students from their respective areas. So that they can attend the convocation and receive the degree.
