OP Rajbhar launches a scathing attack on Akhilesh, saying, “Teach Uncle Shivpal to sing hymns, not hurl abuses.”

Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) President Om Prakash Rajbhar has once again targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. This time the target has been the alleged treatment of senior SP leader and Akhilesh’s uncle Shivpal Yadav. Rajbhar said in a harsh tone that Akhilesh Yadav should teach his uncle bhajan-kirtan instead of abusive politics, because this kind of atmosphere in the family does not suit. In the political circles, this statement of Rajbhar is being seen as a taunt on the internal discord of SP.

Questions on family politics and dignified conduct

This statement of Om Prakash Rajbhar has come at a time when discussions are often held within the Samajwadi Party regarding family equations. Rajbhar said that there can be differences in politics but one should not cross the limits of language towards one’s own people. He clarified that insulting an experienced leader like Shivpal Yadav or using abusive language with him is fatal for the party’s culture. While giving advice to Akhilesh Yadav, Rajbhar said that he should learn to respect his uncle and give him the right guidance.

The round of political attacks and counterattacks intensifies

Cornering the SP chief, Rajbhar further said that ignoring one’s own people or abusing them for the sake of power is not an old socialist tradition. He taunted and said that the kind of language being used for Shivpal Yadav is a wrong message to the society. Political experts believe that this statement of Rajbhar could be a part of a well-planned strategy to increase Shivpal Yadav’s utility in UP politics and to fuel the ongoing dissatisfaction within SP. It will be interesting to see what reaction SP gives to this sharp attack by Rajbhar.
