Online registration is mandatory for pilgrims going on Uttarakhand Chardham Yatra. Devotees wishing to undertake Chardham Yatra of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri from states like UP, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra etc. will be able to register online from tomorrow, Monday, April 8. Preparations for the registration process for Chardham Yatra have been completed by the Tourism Department. This time, when the registered pilgrims reach for registration, they will also get selected mobile numbers useful in the journey.
Preparation for Chardham Yatra
Preparations are going on in full swing in the holy city of Rishikesh for Chardham Yatra. The buildings at the Joint Travel Bus Transit Compound have been painted. Further arrangements have been made for the convenience of the pilgrims. In which the process of air conditioning the dormitory for the stay of the devotees has been started. German hangar tents are being arranged for comfort. Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Pandey said that instructions have been given to keep the routes and places of arrival and stay of pilgrims clean.
Till the date of opening of doors of Kedarnath-Badrinath
The dates of opening of doors of Chardhams including Kedarnath-Badrinath have been announced. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will be opened for devotees on May 10 at 7 am. The doors of Badrinath Dham dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Chamoli district will be opened for pilgrims on May 12 during Brahma Muhurta. Whereas the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will be opened on the day of Akshaya Tritiya.
