Onion sales have also decreased due to price increase, but people are still buying it to some extent, as it is an important part of the diet here.

Expressing concern over the price of onion, a customer said that I bought onion at Rs 70 per kg, whereas the price should have been lower according to the season. But it has increased. It is changing our eating habits.

Onion prices increase

Let us tell you that on November 8, onion prices in Delhi were around Rs 80 per kg. Onion prices have increased in other states also. Onion is available at Rs 70 to 80 per kg in many markets of Mumbai. A customer here said that the prices of onion and garlic have increased manifold. It has almost doubled. Due to which the domestic budget is being affected. I have bought five kilos of onion for Rs 360. Another customer said that onion prices have increased from Rs 40-60 per kg to Rs 70-80 per kg. But like the ups and downs of Sensex, onion prices will also fall.
