Kanpur, 24 October (Hindustan Reporter). In Kalyanpur police station area on Thursday morning, a car went out of control due to sudden application of hand brake and overturned, hitting a motorcycle and a temple. One youth died while five people were injured in the accident. The police team reached the spot after getting information and took all the injured to the nearest hospital. One of them has been admitted to a private hospital as his condition is critical.
Deputy Commissioner of Police West Zone Rajesh Kumar Singh said that Abhishek Sengar (28), who lived behind Lakshmi Hospital in Kalyanpur, died in the accident. Whereas Kunwar Nahar, son of Brijendra Singh Sengar, who was seriously injured in the accident, has been admitted to the Regency Hospital. However, the other four people in the car sustained minor injuries.
Giving information about the accident, he said that today in the morning, the car going at high speed went out of control due to sudden application of hand brake in Kalyanpur police station area and overturned after hitting the motorcycle and the temple. There were six people in the car at the time of the accident. The police team that reached the spot took out all the people trapped in the car with the help of local people and took them to the hospital for immediate treatment. Where doctors declared Abhishek Sengar dead and other injured are being treated.
