Bahraich wolf attack: There has been terror of man-eating wolves in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh for some time now. So far 10 people have died in wolf attacks and more than 22 people have been injured. The forest department and the system are running 'Operation Bhediya' to catch these man-eating wolves. So far 4 wolves have been caught, but the rest of the wolves have made life difficult for the people. On Sunday night, a man-eating wolf entered a village in Hardi police station area. There, it swallowed a three-year-old innocent. The mother of the dead girl has described the horrific incident. While telling about the horrific incident last night, she said that the wolf had gagged the daughter's mouth so she did not even make a sound.

Last night, a three-year-old girl was targeted by a wolf in Garethi Guru Dutt Singh village. Regarding the incident, the girl's mother Meenu said that around 3:30 in the night, I fainted after feeding milk to my youngest daughter. Then a wolf came and picked up the girl. He covered his daughter with his mouth so that even her voice could not go out. He ate the girl's hands and feet.

Two minutes later the wolf came again

Not only this, the wolf returned two minutes after taking the child. Meenu told that by then the villagers had gathered and chased the wolf away. On one hand the administration is claiming that now only two wolves are left, while four have been caught. But Meenu said that there were three wolves last night. The wolf in front of them was taking the girl and the other two wolves were following him.

The villagers said that a wolf was seen near the pond of the house yesterday evening at around 7:00 pm. The forest department was also informed but they said, first send the video of the wolf then we will come. Apart from the girl's house, the wolves targeted three houses within a radius of 300 meters. Footprints of the wolf have also been found there.

Sharp rise in wolf attacks

Man-eating wolves are continuously attacking villagers in Mahsi taluka of Bahraich, due to which people of 50 villages are scared. The first case of such an attack was reported in March this year. Since then, wolf attacks are increasing. It is worth noting that on August 3, the forest department caught a female wolf, which died while being brought by the forest department. Since then, wolf attacks have increased rapidly.

Terror of wolves in 50 villages

There is terror of wolves in 50 villages of Bahraich district. Many people have been injured in man-eating attacks and 10 people including 9 children have died. About 25 teams from 5 forest divisions Bahraich, Katarniaghat Wildlife, Shravasti, Gonda and Barabanki have been deployed to catch these man-eating wolves in Bahraich. Out of these, 12 teams have been deployed in Mahsi tehsil area only. Apart from this, two companies of PAC jawans have been deployed along with the police for security. Now these man-eaters have spread terror in other areas of the district as well. This is the seventh incident of wolf attack in Mahsi tehsil area in the last six months. In which a woman along with nine children have died.
