Kullu, 21 May (HIST). Under Bhuntar police station, the police has arrested a person on charges of hashish smuggling. The case of hashish smuggling came to light on Saturday night when the police team was present at the checkpoint at Shiah Chowk Gadsa. During this, the police recovered 716 grams of hashish from the possession of a person. The police seized the consignment of charas and arrested the accused.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Karthikeyan said that the police has registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs Act against the accused Hem Raj (33), son of Khub Ram, resident of village Paneugi Post Office Diyar Tehsil Bhuntar District Kullu.
