Kishanganj, 11 September (HS). The team of the excise department conducted an investigation campaign in different places of the district on Wednesday in the case of drinking and selling of alcohol. In which vehicles were searched at all the check posts. During this, a person was caught with 18.575 liters of foreign liquor. In which 8 liters of beer was also seized. The liquor was being brought from Bengal on a scooty. Which was seized near the Bengal border.
Sub Inspector of Excise Amrit Kumar Gupta was involved in the action. Please note that on the instructions of Excise Superintendent Devendra Prasad, investigation campaign was conducted in different places of the district including Rampur, Faringola, Devi Chowk, Galgalia check post. The arrested accused was presented in the court on Wednesday after getting medical examination done in Sadar Hospital.
