East Champaran, 11 April (H.I.S.). During the campaign conducted under the leadership of Pakridayal DSP Subodh Kumar regarding the Lok Sabha elections, a criminal wanted in a robbery case and a wanted Naxalite were arrested from different places. After interrogation, both the arrested persons have been sent to judicial custody.
Te Pakridayal DSP Subodh Kumar told that as per the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, during the raid being conducted for the arrest of liquor businessman, criminal and wanted accused of pending cases, on the basis of secret information, two accused wanted in robbery cases were found from Pakridayal police station area. Taklu Sahni alias Ritesh father Sukhari Sahni village- Mazhar police station Pakdidayal has been arrested. Also, on the basis of secret information under the leadership of Patahi police station chief Kailash Kumar, Kameshwar Ram father late Ramchandra Ram, resident of Patkhaulia village has been arrested.
The arrested accused was a wanted accused in two Naxalite cases who was absconding. Two Naxalite cases are registered against the arrested accused Kameshwar Ram in Patahi police station and four in Madhuban police station. He told that Kameshwar Ram had a good relationship with Naxalites and his role in Naxalite activities had come to light in earlier days. Information about this is also being provided from other districts. Police Inspector cum Station Head Shakuntala Kumari, Police Inspector cum Station Head Kailash Kumar, Ajay Kumar Singh, Dhananjay Kumar, Anish Kumar along with SAF and BMP personnel were involved in the raid operation.
