Doda, June 26 (HS). Security forces killed another terrorist on Wednesday in an ongoing encounter in the forest area of Gandoh in Doda district. Security forces had killed a terrorist in the same encounter this morning. It is believed that more terrorists are still trapped in the security forces' cordon, so the operation of the security forces is continuing.
Police officials said that after the twin terror attacks in the hilly district on June 11 and 12, the police along with the army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were carrying out an intensive search and cordon operation. During the operation in Bajad village of Gandoh area on Wednesday morning, the terrorists hiding in the area started firing on seeing the security forces approaching, after which the encounter started. During this, the security forces have killed two terrorists. The encounter between the security forces and the terrorists was going on till the time of writing the news.
