On Saturday, the third day of the ongoing 155-hour cleanliness campaign under the 'Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyaan' organized in all the bodies of Uttar Pradesh on the theme of 'Nature Swachhta-Sanskar Swachhta', about 05 thousand schools, colleges and schools of the state were organized by Swachh Bharat Mission Urban. Various programs related to cleanliness were organized in universities with the participation of more than one lakh students. Through these programs, students, teachers, staff and parents were encouraged to contribute significantly to this mass movement for cleanliness and also to inculcate the spirit of cleanliness in their nature and values. During this, students of educational institutions took 'Cleanliness Pledge' and pledged to continuously contribute towards this work.

Swachh Sarathi Club of schools, colleges and universities had an important contribution in participation in cleanliness. Youth are our heritage and future. Their contribution in various works ranging from cleanliness awareness to cleanliness is incomparable. This year, 'Clean Schools' are being built in all the civic bodies through 'Swachh Sarathi Club', which will be plastic free, equipped with clean toilets and clean premises. The schools which fulfilled the standards of cleanliness and performed best in each body were also awarded the title of “Clean School”.

Along with the students, the general public also participated enthusiastically in this campaign of awareness about cleanliness. The cleanliness rally taken out by the students was greatly appreciated by the people who gave their valuable time. Paintings and posters made by children were placed on the walls of schools. So that the lesson of cleanliness can be established in the nature and values ​​of the coming generation. Parents also participated in the programs and greatly appreciated the campaign being run by Swachh Bharat Mission Urban and also took a pledge to adopt the values ​​of cleanliness in their daily life.
