Union Minister for Skill and Heavy Industries, Dr. Mahendranath Pandey said that under the influence of western culture, we have forgotten our culture, civilization and knowledge philosophy, today the darkness of illusion of western culture is being removed. The Union Minister was addressing the inaugural session of the four-day “Kashi Shabdonotsav-2024” organized in the main building auditorium of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University on Thursday. In the discussion on the topic 'Developed India: Vishwa Guru Bharat' of the inaugural session, the Union Minister said that 'One Earth, One Family, One Future' is actually the ancient verse of India. Which reflects India's thinking about the world that whatever India had, it never said that it was mine without any hatred or any ego. So I have a monopoly on this. Certainly, digital economy can help in taking the whole world forward as one family with this spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
President of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Prof. was present as a special guest in the session. Nagendra Pandey said that India has been a world leader. When Indian culture was at its peak. Today it is the Indians who have abandoned their own culture and adopted that of others. He said that the day Indians will again become aware of their civilization, their culture, their language and will adopt it. India will again become a world leader. Today, India is moving forward with new vision and new energy to become a world leader again. He said that the root of culture is Sanskrit language. Sanskrit language is the source of Indian culture.
Presiding over the program, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma said that Kashi is not an ordinary land but a wonderful land, the knowledge tradition of Indian culture is contained in Sanskrit language only. The pride of India is its culture and civilization and the basic basis of culture is Sanskrit. He said that the concept of becoming a world guru will be realized by accepting spiritual consciousness along with material facilities.
