According to information, the car of Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh Pawar hit a two-wheeler on Monday morning. The accident took place around 9.20 am in which the driver of the two-wheeler died, while the other was seriously injured. The driver of the SP has been injured in this accident. Additional Superintendent of Police Israr Mansoori said that on Monday morning the Superintendent of Police was going to Amarkantak by vehicle for a border meeting, when two youths on a bike were coming towards Anuppur from village Baribandh Anuppur, 200 meters ahead of Amarkantak Road Warehouse, under Anuppur Kotwali police station. Both the vehicles collided at 9.20 am.
In the accident, bike rider 34-year-old Bahoran Singh died, while Satish Dhurve was injured. Also, SP's driver Pradhan
Constable Ramesh Chandra Dubey has been injured. He has been admitted to Anuppur District Hospital for treatment. The body has been brought to District Hospital Anuppur for postmortem. According to information, the vehicle of the Superintendent of Police who met with the accident belongs to a private contractor, whose insurance and pollution date have expired.
