Kaithal, July 5 (HS). In the meeting of District Grievance Redressal Committee held on Friday at Kaithal's Mini Secretariat, Health and Civil Aviation Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta got angry at the officer who was absent in the meeting. He made those officers stand who had come in place of their department heads. He came to know that the District Treasury Officer and Haryana Agro's DM had not come to the meeting.
He directed the DC to seek answers from them. A notice should be issued to both the officers and their one day's salary should be deducted. The minister told his subordinate to inform them that the cabinet minister has come. Is there any work bigger than his meeting? The minister said that no one's absence will be tolerated. The officers have made a joke of the committee meeting. How did both the officers take leave without informing the DC? No department head should be absent from the meeting without the permission of the DC.
A total of 14 cases were placed in the meeting, out of which 10 cases were settled on the spot and 4 cases were kept pending for the next meeting. He instructed all the officers to keep the phone numbers of all the members of the District Grievance Redressal Committee and public representatives saved in their phones. Whenever any public representative calls for any work, receive their call. It is wrong for the officers not to pick up the phone of the representatives. This will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
