The case of fraud of Rs 30 lakh has now reached Ramgarh police station. According to the information, the offer to sell Shalimar Sweets shop located on the main road of the city, Subhash Chowk, was given by its owner Anil Kumar to Punjabi Mohalla resident Daljit Singh Anand and his wife Jasmeet Kaur. In this case, an agreement was also made in the name of Daljit Singh's wife Jasmeet Kaur.

The victim's family told the police that on September 10, Anil Kumar, Ajit Kumar and nephew of Anil Kumar, residents of Bengali Tola, came to their house in Punjabi Mohalla. He told Manoj Jain's wife that he was in dire need of money to buy a shop. For this, he proposed to sell the part of the shop of Shalimar Sweets situated in front of Subhash Chowk which is in the name of Anil Kumar's mother Sona Devi. On September 12, the deal was finalized for Rs 33 lakh and the agreement was prepared, in which Anil Kumar's mother Sona Devi also has the signature. Rs 8 lakh was paid in cash and Rs 22 lakh through RTGS. After taking the outstanding amount of three lakhs, they will get the shop partitioned and give them the possession. During this time, the original sale deed of the shop was also given to Jasmeet Kaur.

Jasmeet Kaur told the police that this matter was spoiled by her parents. When they went to Anil Kumar during Navratri with a check of Rs 3 lakh, he told them to hand over the possession of the shop after Dussehra. On October 13, when Jasmeet Kaur and her husband again went to Sona Devi and Anil Kumar's house, they were misbehaved there. Also there was a threat of losing the money. Anil Kumar and Ajit Kumar abused him and threatened to remind him of 1984.
In this case, Ramgarh Police has registered case number 329/24 under the Indian Justice Code. The investigation of this fraud case has been handed over to Sub Inspector Santosh Kumar.
