The latest case has come to light from the city police station area. The Superintendent of Police received secret information that a large consignment of illegal lottery had come to Sahebganj. On this information, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Kumar Gaurav, a raid team was formed and instructions were given to take immediate action.
After this, the team arrested illegal lottery businessman Mohd. in Rasulpur Dahala under the city police station area. Raids were conducted in the house and shop of Shahrukh Alam alias Vicky. During the raid, a huge consignment of illegal lottery tickets was recovered from them. Its estimated market price is said to be above Rs 38 lakh. Police station in-charge Amit Kumar said on Saturday that the arrested Shahrukh Alam alias Vicky was produced before the police court and sent to jail.
