Khunti, March 9 (Hindustan Reporter) On the basis of secret information received by the Superintendent of Police, the police of Murhu police station arrested a youth riding on a motorcycle with 400 grams of illegal opium during the anti-crime checking conducted near the indigo factory on the Khunti-Chaibasa main road. This information was given by Khunti SDPO Varun Rajak in a press release on Saturday.
He told that further action is being taken by registering a case against the arrested accused, Hindu Hassa, resident of Chondordih village under Adki police station, in Murhu police station. The police have seized a mobile phone and a bike recovered from him. Armed forces personnel including Murhu police station in-charge Nayil Godwin Kerketta were involved in the raid operation.
