East Champaran, 24 October (HS). Raxaul RPF police conducted a raid near Marjadwa station and arrested a person on charges of cutting wood for railways.
Giving this information, Raxaul RPF Post Commander Rituraj Kashyap said that secret information was received that railway timber was being cut near Marjadwa station.
After the information, officers and soldiers were sent from Raxaul post and it was found that a green wood had been cut. Which was kept next to a wood seller. The weight of the said wood is 500 quintals.
During this time shopkeeper Nazruddin Alam has been arrested. Police is taking further action in the matter.
