One accused arrested with illegal doda powder worth 1.25 crores

Jaipur/Chittorgarh, 16 May (Hindustan Reporter). Bhadesar police station of Chittorgarh district seized 761 kg of illegal opium powder stolen from a pickup during the blockade on Thursday and arrested the accused driver Khatik Mohalla Miraganj Bhadsoda resident Udaylal Khatik (33). The international value of the seized Dodachura has been estimated to be around Rs 1.25 crore.

SP Sudhir Joshi told that a blockade was done by Bhadesar police station at Tejpuria Mode border Asawara. During the blockade, the driver of a Mahindra pickup coming from Nikumbh side tried to run away after seeing the police presence. When the police personnel engaged in the blockade stopped the car and searched it, a total of 761 kg of illegal opium powder was found to be filled in 38 plastic bags kept in the pickup. The police seized the illegal garbage and pickup and arrested the accused driver Udaylal Khatik.
