Saharanpur, October 12, (HS). On the occasion of Vijayadashami in Saharanpur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh carried out weapon worship along with processions at six places in the city. In each movement, about 150 to 200 volunteers walked step by step through different routes of the city. Whereas the vocal waves of Ghosh (RSS band) attracted the local people. The march was given a grand welcome by Hindu families and organizations at various places by showering flowers.
The foundation day of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is also celebrated on Vijayadashami. In which the volunteers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh worship weapons and take out street marches to bind the Hindu society in the thread of unity and fill it with a sense of enthusiasm and fearlessness. Volunteers in full uniform also give the message of Hindu unity and integrity through such programs.
Senior campaigners and workers of the Sangh also addressed the programs. In which the message was given to the society to always be ready to deal with anti-national forces including extremism and terrorism. It was also told that in the branches of the Sangh, the volunteer gets physical and mental development and the person becomes disciplined.
Metropolitan Sanghchalak Ashok said that we all have to take a pledge and ensure our participation in building a united India. He said that the dream of Vishwa Guru India seen by Dr. Hedgewar at the time of establishment of the Sangh in 1925 seems to be fulfilled today.
