Police had received information about the death of Badri Prasad (32), son of Chhotalal, a resident of village Guvavan Majre Shital Baksh Ka Purva under Gauriganj Kotwali area, on Saturday night under suspicious circumstances while sleeping inside the house. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Dhanau Devi, the mother of the deceased youth, was suspicious of such a sudden death of her son. He had full suspicion about his daughter-in-law that she may or may not have a hand in his son's death. On this basis, the mother of the deceased gave an application to the police and pleaded for justice. On the complaint of Dhanau Devi, the police registered a case under relevant sections against the deceased's wife Rajneesh and some unknown people and started investigation.
