On the other hand, a Kalyugi wife from Amethi district along with her lover murdered her own husband. Gauriganj police disclosed this within 24 hours and sent 5 accused to jail.

Police had received information about the death of Badri Prasad (32), son of Chhotalal, a resident of village Guvavan Majre Shital Baksh Ka Purva under Gauriganj Kotwali area, on Saturday night under suspicious circumstances while sleeping inside the house. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Dhanau Devi, the mother of the deceased youth, was suspicious of such a sudden death of her son. He had full suspicion about his daughter-in-law that she may or may not have a hand in his son's death. On this basis, the mother of the deceased gave an application to the police and pleaded for justice. On the complaint of Dhanau Devi, the police registered a case under relevant sections against the deceased's wife Rajneesh and some unknown people and started investigation. Within 24 hours of the death under suspicious circumstances, the Gauriganj police has unveiled the murder.

Gauriganj Kotwali in-charge Inspector Shyam Narayan Pandey said that the only named accused, accused Rajnisha (30), was arrested. After this, when he was strictly interrogated, he confessed to his crime and told the whole story. The accused told that I have an illicit relationship with Subhash, who lives in my village. About which my husband came to know. That's why there used to be fights and fights between us every day. That is why on October 20, we, along with our lover Subhash Chandra and his 3 other associates, strangled our husband Badri Prasad to death at night.

Inspector in-charge told that the accused who were involved in the incident and came to light at the behest of the accused are Subhash Chandra Saroj (32) son of Harishchandra, Parmanand (32) son of Ramashray and Anil Kumar (22) son of Mewalal, all of Sheetal Baksh Majare, one Guvavan police station, Gauriganj district, Amethi. And Sahil Inder Kumar (25), son of Indal Ram Naresh, resident of Arjunpur Majre Anni Baijal police station, Gauriganj district, Amethi, has been arrested. In connection with the arrest, Gauriganj police station has taken legal action and sent him to jail.
