Varanasi, July 30 (HS). On the second Monday of the month of Shravan, 3 lakh 9 thousand 716 Shiva devotees attended the court of Kashi's Puradhipati Baba Vishwanath. The process of darshan and pujan continued uninterrupted from Mangala Aarti to Shayan Aarti. The devotees stood in the court till Shayan Aarti to see the tableau of Baba's Gauri Shankar form. Special arrangements were made by the temple and the district administration to provide smooth darshan to the devotees. A flood of devotees has been pouring in at the new-grand Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham since the first day of the month of Shravan.
On the first and second Monday of the month of Sawan, a red carpet was laid on one side to welcome the devotees of Lord Shiva. On the other side, the administrative officials showered flowers on the devotees of Mahadev. On the second Monday of Sawan, a single line system was arranged by integrating the queue system from all the entry routes. Due to which the devotees did not have to face the crowd in the line system. Barriers were installed every 50 meters to control the line system.
Visitors were allowed in according to the capacity of the barricades installed in the Dham. Like the first Monday of Sawan, on the second Monday too, devotees reached Baba's doorstep from Nanduferiya, Silko Gali, Dhundhiraj Ganesh, Lalita Ghat, Saraswati Gate entry road.
It is worth mentioning that every Monday of Shravan month, different forms of Baba Visheshwar are being decorated in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. This year, there are five Mondays in Shravan. Two have already passed. On the remaining three Mondays, Baba will appear before the devotees in different forms. Baba's devotees can easily reach the doorstep of Shri Visheshwar and perform Jalabhishek. For this, the Yogi government of the state has given special instructions.
