On the second day of the special mediation campaign in the civil court, 17 out of 28 cases were settled

Ranchi, June 25 (HS). On the second day of the special mediation campaign going on in Ranchi Civil Court, 17 cases were settled by mutual consent on Tuesday. A five-day special mediation campaign is being run in the civil court from June 24, which will continue till June 28.

In the special mediation campaign, divorce cases, marital restoration cases, adoption cases, maintenance cases, children's guardianship and custody cases and other cases pending in the family court were resolved. Apart from this, cases under Dowry Prohibition Act, Domestic Violence cases and other cases under Domestic Violence Act are being resolved by mediators and advocates. The secretary of the District Legal Services Authority informed that on the second day of the mediation campaign, a total of 28 cases were transferred from various courts to the Mediation Center, Ranchi. Out of these, 17 cases were successfully resolved.
