New Delhi, September 17 (HS). 75 special programs were organized across the country on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday. As part of this nationwide initiative, in a special program organized in Chandni Chowk parliamentary constituency of the capital New Delhi on Tuesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Praveen Khandelwal distributed about 400 tricycles, 300 hearing aids, 300 spectacles, school bags to 300 school children and saris to 200 women.

In his address as the chief guest of this program, MP Praveen Khandelwal emphasized the government's commitment to provide the necessary support and opportunities to the Divyangjans for a self-reliant and dignified life. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, important work is being done to empower marginalized communities through various policies and programs to promote inclusiveness and accessibility.

The BJP MP said that on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has organized a program across the country. Under this, this program has been organized in the Luv Kush Ramlila Pandal located in front of the historic Red Fort. He said that assistive devices worth about Rs 80 lakh were distributed to the disabled, which included about 400 tricycles, 300 hearing aids, 300 spectacles, assistance for cataract operation to 100 people, school bags to 300 school children, saris to 200 women and a feast for about 2000 people.

He informed that these devices are provided to Divyangjans to improve their quality of life, enhance mobility, communication and self-reliance. Khandelwal said that distribution of assistive devices is part of the government's comprehensive efforts aimed at providing comprehensive support to Divyangjans, which is linked to the vision of an inclusive India where every person, regardless of his abilities, is empowered to contribute to society. The MP informed that the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has organized 75 special programs across the country.

Khandelwal said that the event, organised at the Luv Kush Ramlila Pandal opposite the historic Red Fort, underlines the importance of this noble cause. He further said that this initiative is a testament to the Government of India's ongoing commitment to improve the lives of Divyangjans by ensuring that they have access to the resources they need to live a dignified and fulfilling life. He said that this initiative also reflects Prime Minister Modi's vision of an inclusive India, where every citizen, no matter what challenge he or she is facing, is empowered to live a life of self-reliance and dignity.
