Jaipur, 24 August (HS). The appearance festival of Lord Krishna will be celebrated with great pomp in all the temples of Chhoti Kashi on 26 August. Shri Krishna Janmashtami is the only festival which is celebrated in all the small and big temples, monasteries and temples. Every temple will be decorated with Bandarwal and a palanquin tableau will be decorated. Devotees will swing Laddu Gopal in the cradle with devotion. After the sound waves of Krishna bhajans till 12 midnight, Krishna ji's appearance festival will be celebrated by blowing conch-bell-ghadiyal at exactly 12 o'clock. Devotees will celebrate the appearance of Kanha with the chants of Nand ke Anand Bhayo Jai Kanhaiya Lal. The main event will be held at Thikana Mandir Shri Govind Devji. Here the preparations will be finalized on Sunday. Temple Sevadhikari Manas Goswami said that due to barricading in Jagmohan, devotees will not be able to have darshan through Jagmohan on Sunday. Darshan will be from outside only. On Janmashtami, Shehnai will be played at the main gate and exit well gate of the temple. On 26th August, Thakur Shreeji will be anointed with Panchamrit before Mangala Jhanki. Thakur Shreeji will be dressed in new yellow clothes and will be adorned with special ornaments. Thakur Shreeji will be specially adorned with flowers.

On Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the arrangements for the darshan of the visitors will begin from the Mangala Jhanki in the morning. Three separate lines have been arranged for pass holders, general public entry without shoes and slippers, and general public entry with shoes and slippers. Visitors will be able to get the benefit of darshan by coming from these three lines. Those who come from Jalebi Chowk will exit from Jai Niwas Bagh East Gate. Those who come for darshan from Brahmapuri, Kanwar Nagar will exit from Jai Niwas Bagh West Gate via Chintaharan Hanuman Ji Temple.

Will give 31 gun salute

There will be a 31-gun salute at 12 midnight and special colorful fireworks will be done. Govind Abhishek Darshan will open at 12 midnight. In this, 6 Pandits will recite the Vedas. After Shri Shaligram Puja and the worship of five substances, Thakur Shriji will be anointed with Panchamrit. Before this, from 10 to 11 pm, Govind Ji Mishra will recite the Sri Krishna Janmashtami Vrat Katha.

425 liters of milk, 365 curds, 11 kg ghee, 85 kg sugar, 11 kg honey will be used for Abhishek. After Abhishek, special offerings will be made to Thakurji. Which includes offerings of Panjiri Laddu, Khirsa and Rabri Kulhad. After Abhishek, free Panchamrit and Panjiri will be distributed among all the devotees from the Prasadi stage built in Jai Niwas Bagh.

Janmashtami festival will be celebrated in the Gopinath Ji temple in Purani Basti under the guidance of Mahant Siddharth Goswami. Lord Krishna's Janmabhishek will be held on Monday afternoon in Radha Damodar temple in Chaura Rasta and Ladli Ji temple in Ramganj Bazaar. The festival will also be celebrated at Charan temple located on Nahargarh hill at 12 noon.

At the Akshardham Temple in Vaishali Nagar, the Lord will be adorned with a special tableau. The festival will begin in the morning itself. At the Girdhari Dauji ISKCON Temple in Mansarovar Dholai, there will be anointment and adornment of Radha Madan Mohan, Girdhari Dauji, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Mahaprabhu. At the Krishna Balram Temple in Jagatpura, the Lord will be anointed with sandalwood oil, fruits as well as Panchamrit. The Lord will be anointed with 51 kinds of substances and herbs.

Special events will be organized at Amarpur Darbar on Shri Krishna Janmashtami

Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival will be celebrated with great pomp on Monday, 26th August at Shri Amarpur place, a holy pilgrimage place of faith. On Monday morning from 7 to 10 am, there will be programs of Bhajan-Satsang, Havan Yagna, Anushthan by saints and Mahatmas. After which, from 5 to 7 pm in the evening, there will be Bhajan Sankirtan, Granth, Bhagwat Paath Bhog Parayan.

Monu Maharaj said that on Monday night from 11 to 12:30, congratulatory songs, grand tableau darshan of Laddu Gopal, special abhishek of Lord Shri Krishna with Panchamrit will be done at the time of Lord Shri Krishna's birth at night. After which Naichedya Prasadi will be offered along with Maha Aarti and Kheer Prasadi will be distributed.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival will be celebrated with great pomp in Shri Prembhaya temple

On behalf of Shri Prembhaiya Mandal Committee, Janmashtami festival will be celebrated with great pomp in the temple of Shri Prembhaiya Sarkar located in Shivdaspura. Committee President Vijay Kishore Sharma said that on this occasion the temple will be decorated with special lights and flags. Devotional music will start from 8.30 pm. At 12 midnight, Shri Prembhaiya Sarkar will be anointed with Panchamrit with Vedic chanting. Nandotsav will be celebrated on September 1 from 5 pm to 9 pm.

There will be devotional music by Shri Prembhaya Sarkar from 9 pm to 12 pm at Yugal Kutir situated at Jai Lal Munshi Ka Rasta in Chandpole Bazaar. Janma Aarti will be performed at midnight. On this occasion, a tableau of Phool Bangla will be decorated.
